"Santa" Tim and Pam "Claus"
One of the Southeast's premier Santas
Tim is an experienced Santa Claus who has
portrayed the Jolly Old Elf for 35 years.
Tim was the first speaker selected to present a
workshop entitled "Media Relations and Santa
Claus" at Celebrate Santa 2010. Pam will also be
doing workshop entitled "Santa's Image - Beyond
the Beard and Red Suit." This event is held in
Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and is one of the largest
Santa gatherings in the world.
Tim appeared as Santa in a regional television
commercial that appeared in eleven different
states.

popular podcast host of 'Conversations with Mrs Claus' which is heard in 90 countries on
www.TheFamilyYak.com channel interviewed "Santa" Tim Cavender about his experiences as
Santa in June 2009.
Both Tim and Pam have appeared in parades, corporate gatherings, schools and community
events as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
A book entitled "Hometown Holidays," that
was released in 2008, had a chapter written
on Tim called "Santa Tim Is a Jolly Old Elf."

Tim has worked with the United States
Marine Corps during their Toys for Tots
campaign.
Tim has made several appearances as
Santa on television and has also been the
voice of Santa on radio.
The Atlanta Journal and Constitution wrote an article on Tim called "Every Christmas Season,
Cavender Knows Who He Is."
Tim and Pam took the official Santa Claus Oath on May 16th, 2009 at Celebrate Santa. This
oath was given to over 600 Santas and will appear in The Guiness Book of World Records for
the largest gathering of Santas taking an oath. The Cavenders also signed the historic Santa
Oath Book which will be on display at the Santa's Candy Castle in Santa Claus, Indiana.
Tim and Pam participated in the first Celebrate Santa parade that was held on March 17th,
2009. Approximately 20,000 people attended the event. Projections for 2010 indicate that
40,000 people will be in attendance.
